If you sent in a report and you don\u2019t see it posted below, we didn\u2019t receive it! Please consider reposting any reports you may have sent it in! We are especially interested in both positive and negative reports in West Virginia, Virginia and Pennsylvania. Brood XIV has appeared and been documented in southwestern West Virginia, extreme southwestern Virginia and central Pennsylvania this season. Most reports from the Washington D.C. and Baltimore, MD area are believed to be 4 year decelerations of Brood X. He has been fascinated by cicadas since he was a little boy.<\/p>\n<p>He hopes to possibly be an entomologist someday. We live in Harford County, MD. We saw and heard the cicadas the entire time we were in the area. We were in the area from June 13 through June 22. The cicadas were constant the entire time except when we had rain. We traveled from the South Williamsport area (Nittany Mountain KOA)through the Elysburg area (Knoebels Amusement Park) and heard loud patches along the highways on Rts. 15, 80 and 487. The temperature ranged from the mid 50\\&#8217;s at night into the upper 80\\&#8217;s during the days.<br \/>\nOther comments:\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 We took many pictures and some video to document the cicadas. They tend to stick to the trees. My 5 year old son caught 5-6 in about one week. After about three weeks of hearing and seeing the cicadas we began to see their \\&#8221;shells\\&#8221; attached to trees.<br \/>\nOther comments:\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 My son collected about 50 shells if you want a picture, please respond.
